Welcome to ‘Styled by Katie’ - Let me introduce you to a world of style, positivity, colour, fun, wellness and empowerment. I’m a professional, fully qualified personal stylist trained by The London College of Style. I am based in Essex and work with both women & men.
Prior to this I worked in central London in the media industry for 25 years in production and post production. This included various roles from purchasing and sourcing outfits for ‘Hello’ & ‘OK’ commercials, through to filming members of the Royal Household at St James’s Palace, on a regular basis.
I have always been so passionate about fashion and style, there is nothing more exciting than creating a look that comes together & works perfectly. I love a mix & nowhere is out of bounds, whether it’s on the high street, finding designer investment pieces and accessories, discovering pre-loved gems or trawling vintage sites and markets.
I am a mother of two teenage boys and know how hard it is to juggle family and career. With little time to spare it’s easy to put yourself at the bottom of the list and not take some time out for self-care. I often hear clients saying, “this is my time now” or “this is the year I want to re-connect and feel better about myself.”
My motivation and drive is for my clients to leave our sessions feeling happier and more assure of themselves. I believe personal styling should be accessible to everyone. It is not always about spending money on a new wardrobe, in fact more often than not it’s breathing new life into existing clothes and putting together styles and outfits that hadn’t been identified before.
What we wear can be a direct influence on our confidence, attitude and how we feel about ourselves. My goal is to ensure you look and feel your best, this in turn can impact on how you appear and interact with others around you.
My services are structured but, are also bespoke personally to your circumstances and needs, no two clients are the same. Mutual trust and respect between myself and my clients are imperative, and I want this to be a special experience for you, my aim is to find your personal style that suits you, your budget and lifestyle.
